How often & when to use Hycosan

Hycosan eye drops can be used as frequently as required. Normally three applications per day is sufficient. They are suitable for long term use as long as there is no underlying medical condition.

Hycosan should not be used at the same time as ophthalmic drugs. If you have to apply medication to the eye please wait for about 30 minutes before applying Hycosan.

The 10ml bottle provides 300 drops (3-4 drops per day over 12 weeks). Due to the design of the container a small amount of Hycosan will be left in the container after 10 ml has been dispensed.

How to use Hycosan eye drops

Remove the protective blue cap.

If opening a fresh bottle of Hycosan, prime the dispensing system by pressing on the bottom several times, until the first drop comes out.

To apply to the eye, tilt head slightly back and retract the lower eyelid. Invert the bottle over the eye and press the bottom of the container to release one drop.

Close the eye slowly so that the solution can spread on the surface of the eye.
